Rookie Quick mauled, culprit unknown: Last night at about 12:00 AM, Philadelphia rookie Ben Quick was awakened to a pain in his right hand. after turning on the light, he discovered 5 or 6 deep lacerations to his pitching hand. The backside of his wrist was covered in blood. At this point it is unclear what caused the wounds, but most evidence points to Quick's cat, who was in the room at the time. the wounds look like slash marks, but it is tought to tell of they are from a cat. Although Quick was unable to throw Wednesday, he is listed as day-to-day and should be 100% for the winner take all Mets at Phillies this Sunday
