Tim Stewart has said if the Phillies do decide to release him then he would like to consider playing for the Reds to go along with his other options A's, Yanks, and Braves. The Reds do need a better lead off hitter than their newly addition Terrence Vunde who came over from the Phillies for Homer Wouky. T-Stew can fit in well in Cincinnati, well the Reds may be getting a new GM, being Curtis Bell so i don't know what his reactions will be to Timmy Problems Tim Stewart to go along with that bad reputation that he'll carry for quite sometime.
We have news to tell everyone that Stewart has helped out the community in a big way. Well he helped raise $15,000 in a local runing race. Not only that but served 50 hours of community service... and no we are not talking about Tim Stewart that is located as we speak in a local jail in Philadelphia, the same man who has been arrested twice in the past year later put behind bars. Who has the 2nd worst reputation in baseball. The man is Chris Stewart the local star of the San Diego Padres who may be hanging up the spikes within the next couple weeks. Chris, 34, is nowheres near slowing down but is heading off to 'college' is i guess what they call it these days.
