MLB jr. American League and National League differences.

  • AL's average HR is 148ft. NL's is 139ft.
  • There are more doubles in the NL and AL due to small fields in NL for ground rule doubles.
  • AL's gets more triples cause of the bigger fields and gaps. AL's average for gaps are 155ft. compared to NL's 149ft. There are 5 fields in the AL with their CF wall atleast 200ft. (NYY, BOS, DET, SEA, TEX) compared to NL's 2 fields (ARZ, LA)
  • AL is more of a breaking ball league as to the NL whom is more of a fastball league.
  • AL has the slower grass, and the NL has the faster, the NL also has the only two teams with turf fields being Pittsburgh's and Houston's.
  • The AL has way more foul territory than the NL.
