Alaxs Aminis whom is undefeated as a Yankee with a record of 52-0 since he came over from the Dodgers in 2000. He may be the new closer as of the 2005 season. Aminis whom has a career 0.24 ERA with the Yankees has highly considered moving to the role that the greatest close of all time was in. That is Rudy who has 625 career saves, career record of 78-0, ERA at 0.01 in 2147 2/3 innings! Only 2 hits given up to 6,500 batters he's faced. Purely unreal and unbelievable. Aminis may be taking Rudy's place because Rudy has said he wants experience in the toughest job in the game, closers role. If Aminis heads to the pen the starting rotation may look like this. Mike Malon, Fozzy Gandors, Roberto Fliet, Marces Donaque, John Thomson, the rest undecided and this is just a rumor.
The 2004 schedule may include 24 games within it. 8 of those games including 1 inning games. The other 16 including 4 inning games. If this indeed happens the Brett Bernard (486 HR), John Black (486 HR), and Ben Clark (489 HR) will have atleast 37 games to reach 500 career HR! J.R. Neuman has about 37 games to reach 3,000 career hits. He is currently at 2,931. That is averaged out to be almost 2 hits a game he needs to average for the while 2004 season which is likely to happen. Back to Bernard, his career record is at 288-9. he has about 19 more starts left in his career and should reach 300 wins! Never done before and he will probably do it as well as come close to 4,000 strikeouts if not reach it. He will indeed reach 100 career complete games as he is at 95.
Right now it looks like Spring Training will take place on 03.28.04 or 04.04.04. We'll keep you updated on it when the news comes in. So far the huge players available for spring training this Sunday is Rudy and Harris. We don't know if Osgood, Bernard, and Neuman will be doing anything. We hear that Raydogg will be in Rochester for a huge Chess Tournament and he's out to win some big bucks.
