The sister of Princess Ayeka, Sasami is a care free child who likes to act responsible (look at when she let Tenchi free in episode 2, then how she got Ayeka out of her room in episode 3). Very peculiar to someone of royal blood however Sasami is a very good cook and prepares all the meals for the Misaki house hold. She also enjoys playing with Ryo-ohki. Sasami's only power (as far as i've seen) is a great one. Her ship Tsunami, capable of generating the 10 wings of the light hawk is almost invincible to any attack.

Young Sasami is once again the cook for the Misaki residence, she also seems to be becoming their maid as well. We see a lot more of Sasami's youth than before, and she has a special relationship with her Uncle which saves the group at the end.

Sasami is now full fleged cook and maid (although she is a princess). She has Ryo-ohki as protection from harm in this series, much as Ayeka has Azaka and Kamidake.
