Where is the summer going?!?! This summer is just flying by, and I cannot believe that I only have about a month left before RA training starts. I feel as though I have not had any time to enjoy the nice weather. Working 9 to 12 hour days is not all that fun, and now I will be working 6 days a week for the next 3 weeks. Too much to think about.

So other than summer flying by, everything around here is going well. Ken is packing up and preparing to leave for Albany this weekend. Things have been a little tense the last few days because he is leaving and we will not see each other as often as we are used to. On a happier note, Ken went home with me for the 4th of July weekend. He met almost all of my family because everyone was home for the holiday. We had a great time and everyone seems to really like him. We spent time rollerblading with my mom, going to picnics, going out to lunch with my grandparents, and even swimming. We spent a lot of quiet time talking and just enjoying each other's company. All of the fireworks displays that we were able to see were really nice. We even we to see Lifehouse in concert at Chautauqua Institute.

There is not much going on in my life. I am trying to adjust to having a boyfriend again. It is wonderful spending nights just talking and cuddling. We always seem to either go rollerblading, watch a movie or go out to dinner. This week we did have a picnic up at Harris Hill, which was a fun activity. I even hit more softballs than him in the batting cages. :)

I have a few weeks off from babysitting, but the summer season in Admissions is picking up. There are tours all of the time, and we start our Open Houses this Saturday. I am learning a lot, but I ran out of data entry to do. Guess being too efficient has its downfalls. They do not know what exactly they will have me do next.

The wedding in Maine was beautiful. Ellen made a gorgeous bride, and it was a wonderful time. She lives in such a beautiful area, but it is still a little too remote for me. We danced the night away and talked to the few Air Force men that were there as well. It was a great time, but I still cannot believe that Ellen is married!!

Well almost time to do rounds, and I still need to do some dishes. More to come when something interesting happens. :)

Is it possible for a person to hate another person forever or is there a time when they will let by gones be by gones? Not that it bothers me that certain people hate me, but I wish there was a time when I knew that they stopped hating me and finally forgave me. Is forgiveness possible, that is the question? I will probably never know the answer.
