The SLVDGA was formed in November 1982. Its main purpose is to promote the dairy goat as
much as possible. We have shown people that goats serve many good purposes; one of those being
to put good, fresh milk and cheese on our tables. Through selective breeding, and good care,
the dairy goat can yield over a gallon of delicious milk a day.
