DUCT TAPE ON TV!
Hey, I've seen duct tape on some TV shows!!! Nifty! Here they are:
- Friends: When Phoebe's boyfriend from the navy came to visit, Phoebe got the chicken pox. And of course, chicken pox are contagious, you know, and guess who catches them?? So what does Monica do to stop the "Scratchy Twins" from itching their spots? She DUCT TAPES oven mitts to their hands.
- Big Brother: The houseguests get a challenge to ride a distance eqivalent to the Tour de France on their exercise bike. They have to wear yellow t-shirts. But yellow is boring, right? So they decorate them. They use DUCT TAPE and the mighty Sharpies to decorate their shirts. Nifty!!
DUCT TAPE IN BOOKS!
Well, I haven't seen too much in this department, but maybe I will in the future. I only have one right now, and it's not really duct tape.
- Star Wars: Children of the Jedi by Barbara Hambly: Throughout the book ENGINE TAPE is used. There's even a reference to it stating, "If it weren't for duct tape, the Rebel Forces would have fallen apart in its first year." Just goes to show you that there will always be duct tape, even in the future!!!
