What is a paramedical exam and how long does it take?
An
exam consists of questions about your medical history, measurements of your
height & weight, blood pressure & pulse. A urine specimen will also be collected. The exam usually takes 20 to 30 minutes,

the information obtained during the examination is strictly confidential and
for insurance purposes only. It will be
sent to the insurance company for review.
Why
is Blood Testing required?
Blood
testing was requested by your insurance company. Blood testing has found to provide important information. A wide range of tests are completed by the
requested lab and the results are sent only to your insurance company.
Fasting
or Not?
Unless
otherwise noted by your insurance company, you need to be at least 6 to 8 hours
FASTING.
Drinking
water during this time is OK.
If your
insurance company required a longer time you would have been notified when
making your appointment
Please notify the examiner if you have had previous
problems such as fainting, nausea, currently taking aspirin, have difficulty
clotting or bruise easily
