We have our differences
and cannot hear ...
The other's side
is not at all clear.

Is it worth the hassle?
Do we give a damn?
Or should we leave
and hear the door slam?

Does our time together
mean anything?
Or should we keep
the gloves on and
get in the ring.

There's sure to be a knock out ...
but who will it be?
Which of us will claim a victory?
The countdown has started.

We have now parted.
Is it too late?
To admit we made a mistake.
We could give it another try.

Shrug shoulders and sigh.
Words left unspoken
Cause hearts to be broken
Pride gets in the way

So let me say
Something I do
Is still Love you.
Is there a chance?
