During the beginning of the course of this term one of the first topics that we were told to do a paper on

was about our experience of doing college research on line.  This experience was a very enlightening one

because it opens our eyes to see more about certain colleges than what we hear about.  There are more things

about colleges that we the students need to know than what’s on the application.  What I think to me is a very

important part of a college when I was doing the research was the fact of how many freshman who enroll in

college actually return for their second year.  It is a very important part of what I look for in a college because I

would know if the school was very influential on the life of the student.

     What I found really interesting was the number of websites recommended when looking for college

information.  It’s like a whole new world beyond the textbooks that provide information that’s updated maybe

every year.  On the websites the information is updated every time the college has something that will really

interest the student when looking at the web site.  The college websites that really helped me during the time of

my search were www.petersons.com, www.collegeboard.com, and www.collegequest.com.  These websites

contain a variety of different information about any college that you will be interested in going to or just looking

at.  College web sites can help any high school student that is planning to go to college.  I recommend students

who are planning to go to college to do some college search on the Internet, because it will help them find

information about colleges that are missing that can’t even be found in the books.  I hope that the information

that I have supplied will make you decide to do college research on the Internet.
