“Damn it Tracy what’s going on with Karen???” Nathan asked as the two sat in study hall the next morning. “What do you mean” Shit he can’t find out Tracy thought. “She hasn’t returned any of my calls she’s just been avoiding me that’s all and since you’re her friend I thought you might know what’s going on”.
“Maybe you should ask her?”
“I can’t she won’t let me near her she acts as if I have a decease or something.... You know maybe she wants to break up”
“No Nathan that’s not it!!!” Tracy said loudly
“So you do know what’s going on”
“Look all I can say is that you gotta talk to her for yourself it’s not doing any good talking to me”
After study hall Nathan saw Karen in the hallway, he quickly ran up and talked to her. “Karen why haven't you returned any of my calls??” He asked. “I’ve been busy that’s all”. Nathan wasn’t buying it he grabbed Karen and took her to the broom closet near by. “What the hell are you doing, I’m gonna be late for class” Karen said. “Fuck that what’s going on with you, you’ve been acting weird since yesterday”.
“I told you I’ve just been busy”
Luckily for Karen she managed to avoid Nathan the until school was over. When she got home and immediately dropped her back onto the floor and went into the kitchen. As she opened the refrigerator she noticed a note which said Kevin and Kristin @ 7pm tonight . “Shit!!” Karen said to herself she picked up her bag and ran upstairs to her room
Eventually 7-pm came Kevin and Kristin were downstairs having dinner with Karen’s parent’s while she was upstairs talking on the phone to Tracy. “Wait a second you mean to tell me that Kevin and his wife are downstairs right now?” Tracy said.
“Yes”
“Well where the hell are you???”
“In my room”
“Karen you can’t keep avoiding him you have to do something” Just then there was a knock at her door.
“Tracy hold on for a sec someone’s at the door” Amusing it was her mom Karen quickly opened it to see Kevin standing there she was still holding the phone in one hand.
“So how come you’re not downstairs?” He asked. Karen could hear Tracy asking who it was in the background but she just ignored her and answered. “Because I don’t feel well it’s no big deal.
“Maybe I can make you feel better” Kevin said walking towards her but quickly stopping when he noticed that Kristin was coming. “Honey are you ready to go??” She asked
“Yeah we can leave now” Kevin walked back downstairs as Kristin gave Karen an evil look as if she new what was going on and slowly walked away.
“Tracy you still there??” Karen asked shutting the door and locking it. “Yea I heard everything look Karen maybe you should tell someone what happen”
“I just have to keep letting him do this”
What do you mean you have to keep letting him I thought it only happened once?” Karen didn’t know what to say. “You mean it happened more than once?”
“Yea he picked me up from cheerleading practice the other day”
“What if you get pregnant or some disease or something??”
“I know your worried Tracy but if I say anything I’m dead literally”
