Well, here is my story. Since my childhood, I have wanted to live in Japan. Many people have asked me, "Why Japan?", and all I could ever say to them was, "Why not." I never knew for certain what the attraction to this land was but I had some idea. When I was a child, my first images of Japan came from television. What did I see, you ask? I saw temples, shrines, castles and other mysterious things my eyes had not seen before. My mind could not comprehend what enigmas were hidden deep within the culture and history of this beautiful land. From that moment, when I saw those wonders, I thought to myself, "I want to live in Japan".

This is a picture of Himeji Castle, one of the most famous castles in Japan. It is a magnificent site that has a 700 year history and is one of the few castles in Japan that was never destroyed by war.
