They say our future lies within our youth. No truer words have been spoken, especially when it comes to the longevity of our club. Todays kids in youth group will carry on with traditional, and innovative ideas in the coming years of IHA. Just as in the past, our children have grown and taken the reins, so will our youth of this year. These kids, between ages 8 and 18 are the lifeblood of any organization.
Their energy, imagination, and drive continues to move this club forward.

Again may I add, this and all pages are constantly changing. Any youth in our association is welcome to place a picture, a poem or any other writings on this page.

Results for the IHA Youth Group's Jack Benny Show - (finally)

It was a beautiful day and everyone had a great time,
lunch was great and the kids did an awesome job!
Thank you to Wendy & Brian who stayed up in the booth and helped keep the
day running smoothly. Thanks to Sarah and Carole who helped both in
the booth and on the ground keeping the kids together and helping with
the "Task" course. Brian also came to the gate and kept everyone moving.
Thank you to Janine who returned home early from her cruise to make pins for us!
We had a total of 43 riders! Riders and horses of all abilities.
Just on a personal note I have to say I did have 2 favorites, Lorraine Burke on Camelot
was quite entertaining in barrels & pole bending doing piaffes and extended trots!
and also Bill Quinn who ran a record breaking time in barrels at
5 days, 6 hours, 22 minutes and 32.19 seconds!! The actual time was 99.766,
thanks for being such a great sport Bill!

The costume class was great, we had 17 entries!
Awesome costumes including a "saw" horse, "gated" horse, paint, clown,
medieval (yea theme costume), clown, my little pony, pumpkin, taxi,
sleeping beauty, and the best costume went to the ballerina and a few others.
Great job everyone!!! Check out the photos by clicking the link below.

Horses change lives. They give our young people confidence and self-esteem. They provide peace and tranquillity to troubled souls, they give us hope!
