IHA WESTERN PLEASURE SHOW RESULTS July 26, 2009
A big thank you to our band of hardy helpers: Laura's husband Pat as ring steward,
Carole's daughter Gina and Angela in the booth,
Antoinette DeGruccio and Elaine Winston at the gate
(not to mention Antoinette Jr. and others who carried judge's sheets to the
booth on horseback as they left their class) and the folks who left the sidelines
to clear away the trail class items.
The Western Pleasure Committee would also like to thank all our riders and horses

June 28 2009 RESULTS
The Islip Horsemen's Association Western Pleasure Committee would like to thank
all our horses and riders who braved the threat of showers to come out
and "strut their stuff!" It was a great day!
We would also like to thank the Spirit of Long Island Drill Team for their
performance at the lunch break. It was a fine tribute to Rose Ott and a
real crowd pleaser. Many thanks to our helpers: Lou Maggio for setting up the speakers,
Trail Judge Lesa Jeffries for volunteering her time and experience,
Elaine Winston for her help at the gate, Laura's husband Pat and son David,
and Carole's daughter Gina.

We had several new leadliners and some of our "older" leadliners did very well in the
new Buckaroo Division. The Rookie Reining was able to offer cash prizes as well as our
Non-Pro class. And our new Gaited Division is off to a good start!
