A block east of Yellowstone, where
one of the lesser avenues, 70th, spills into Death Blvd. 70th
merits only a "Be Alert" sign; it evidently hasn't
"hit" the big time with a death on its hands. It also
hasn't yet merited hands, for its walk signals are strictly for
those who read English. Am I the only one who finds the graphics
on the Alert signs lacking?
Yet another sign dealing with the
pedestrian dangers, this one aimed at the motorists. You'll see
this one elsewhere in the city, but it takes on new emphasis
on this vehicle, pedestrian and danger-sign clogged artery. Shot
