| Top view faces east towards the sprawling Clearview Expwy interchange. The overpass immediately ahead, carries southbound traffic to the Clearview, from the westbound LIE. The view below faces west, with the Underhill walkbridge faintly visible ahead. That bridge, essentially connecting Cunningham and Kissena Parks, was more or less part of the Vanderbilt Motor Parkway's ancient right of way, parallel to the equally ancient and still living Peck Ave. On the northside, Peck and Underhill bookend the narrow strip of parkland and playgrounds known as the Kissena Corridor, which eventually opens up into major league parkhood. |
