OUR SPEAKERS:
Joslyn Moldstad was born in Jenera, Ohio, to Wayne and Esther Wiechmann. The fourth child of six, Joslyn moved with the family to Milwaukee, Wisconsin, at eight months of age and spent her childhood there. After elementary school, she attended Wisconsin Lutheran High School and later graduated from Martin Luther Academy in New Ulm, Minnesota. Joslyn continued her education and received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education from Dr. Martin Luther College, also in New Ulm. She taught third and fourth grade at Wrightstown, Wisconsin, and then married Pastor John A. Moldstad. John and Joslyn were blessed with seven children and while their children were young, Joslyn operated a Christian day care in their home. Through these early years Joslyn wrote two devotional books for families: A Few Minutes With Jesus and At Home With Jesus. She also wrote an object lesson book titled, Don’t Forget the Happy Ending, which emphasizes the happy ending of God’s love found in the gospel. Joslyn also completed two novels, The Kids Nobody Liked and Megan’s Mountain. Joslyn’s latest devotional has recently been published. Its title is Jesus, Our Family Guest. Joslyn is now serving as the director and teacher of Jesus’ Lambs at Peace Preschool in North Mankato, Minnesota, at Peace Lutheran Church. ![]()
