"SORROW"

Losing a family member is sad thats true,
but I hate it when you feel blue.
Losing a loved one is sad you see,
that is why I wish you were here with me.
To hold you and comfort you,so that you can see,
that you are more than a friend to me.
The pain that you feel I feel it to,
that is why I want to make this poem for you.
The sadness, the sorrow, the pain that is there,
I just want you to know that I do really care.
The pain and the sorrow that you feel that is deep,
that is the love that you will always keep.
When you feel pain from someone that is gone,
then you know that their memory will always live on.
The pain and the sorrow that you know to be true,
I just want you to know that i will always be there for you.
The loss of your love will always be there,
just open your heart and then we can share.

A TRIBUTE

New York is the place to be,
we even have the statue of liberty.
We had the the towers that stood so tall,
but in a flash the planes made them fall.
the smoke spread across the land,
the dust was settling in your hand.
the emergency workers start to arrive,
looking to help people who were still alive.
the buildings fell the buildings crumbled,
you can feel the sidewalks shake and rumble.
then the rescue workers start to arrive,
hoping to find people still alive.
they dig threw the rubble with their hands,
they came in from all over the lands.
they search both day and night,
oh man it must have been a sight.
to see the shattered concrete and the steel,
they must have been having a rough ordeal.
they find some victims still alive,
this was a great surprise.
the united states will reunite,
this will be a beautiful sight.
to see everybody across the land,
reaching out hand in hand.
