Polish Throwup

Grab your vomit, and prepare for an up-chuckin' good time. Polish Throwup was the first game ever played by the New Troop 400, and dates back to the earliest days of Troop 400, Lakeland. The name was derived from our Polish Scoutmaster, who leads the game.

Polish Throwup is played like this: Someone sits in the middle of a circle (usually Scoutmaster Phil), and takes a pink towel tied to a rope--this forms the throwup. The Center, as we will call him, begins to swing the rope out to a radius of roughly 7 feet. When a good, constant swing is in motion, the Center will call, "Everybody in!" and the surrounding scouts will jump into the path of the throwup. The object of the game is to continuously jump over the throwup as long as possible without stoping the swing of the rope. If someone hits the throwup, he is called out, and the process is repeated. The game is won when there is only one person left standing.

Polish Throwup has provided great fun for the Scouts of Troop 400 for over twenty years, and continues to be a great hit. The Scouts of Troop 400 reserve the Title of Polish Throwup as an original Troop 400 Game, and hope that if used by other troops, Troop 400 will be acknowledged as the creators of Polish Throwup. (Hint: This game is great for tournaments by patrol.)
