What: A 5 week juniors doubles league
to help players develop individual volleyball skills. We will begin
with 30-45 minutes of coaching and drills, followed by supervised
scrimmaging.
When: Mondays from 5:45pm-8pm starting
on 5/18/09 and ending on 6/15/09.
Where: Murray Park on Rebsamen Park
Rd. in Little Rock, AR. We will be meeting by the sand courts (the
second entrance to the park) and play on those if they are available
(the city does not allow those courts to be reserved). If they are
not, we will play on portable courts in the grass adjacent to the
sand courts.
Why: Experts agree that one of the
best ways to improve a player's all around skill level is to have
them play doubles volleyball. Doubles provides the player with many
more opportunities to play the ball than does traditional indoor
sixes, thus allowing the player to advance at a faster rate than
if they only played on a large team. Plus, doubles is FUN!
Cost: $50 per player, but each player
must also have an AVPNext membership which costs $10 per calendar
year (

Late Registration: We have already
started this league, but we are accepting late additions. If you
want to join for the remainder of the league, please fill out and
submit the form below and call coach Todd Joseph to let him know
you will be participating (813-784-7962). Full payment is due on
the first day of attendance at the league, but early payment is
recommended.
