About the coach:
Todd Joseph has been playing and coaching both
indoor and outdoor volleyball for more than 15 years. He has
been a successful club, high school, and college camp head coach,
having coached at many local, regional, and national tournaments.
In 2009, Todd coached the Little
Rock Juniors 17-1 team to an undefeated Gold Division Championship
at the "Volley
In The Rock" USA Volleyball tournament, an undefeated
Gold Division Championship at the "Peachtree
Classic" in Atlanta, GA, and an undefeated Gold Division
title at the "Delta
Region Championships". He is also an assistant coach
for the UALR women's NCAA Division I volleyball team.
Todd played his college ball on the Men's NCAA
varsity volleyball team at SUNY New Paltz where he was a setter/L/OH.
Todd also plays competitive outdoor volleyball as much as possible.
His achievements include being past winner of both the CDGD
and GMVB
Men's Open King of the Hill tournaments as well as being an
Arkansas State Outdoor Volleyball Champion. He also plays
in beach volleyball tournaments whenever he has time (including
the EVP Pro Beach tournament in Clearwater Beach, FL in 2009).
...Prior to moving to AR in 2007, Todd was very active in the
beach volleyball community in Tampa, FL.
He is also the Tournament Director and Education
Coordinator for Sweet
Sets Volleyball. Todd is both USA
Volleyball CAP II trained and IMPACT certified and is a
member of the American
Volleyball Coaches Association. Outside of volleyball, he
is finishing his PhD in Cognitive Psychology through the University
of South Florida. He is an instructor in the Psychology Department
at the Universiy of Arkansas at Little Rock and teaches a distance
learning course for the University of Florida. |
