Grand Knight’s Letter

December 2009

Dear Brothers,

 

            I would like to begin by wishing all of our Members and their families a blessed and joyous Christmas, and a happy, healthy, and prosperous New Year.  Our council’s Christmas party this year was a big success with wonderful food and great company.  I have attached some photos of the festivities.  A good time was had by all.

 

            I would like to take this opportunity to recognize our council’s newest Members of the 3^rd Degree.  Congratulations to Ralph Hernandez, George Sobel, Miguel Perez, David Aviles, Tom Peterson, and my son Stephen Quaranta who completed the Degree last month.  You make us all proud, and I hope to be joining you all at your 4^th Degree soon. 

 

            2010 is right ahead of us and will bring us all many challenges and opportunities.  Remembering to keep our faith first will help us meet those challenges and make the right choices.  Each New Year is like a blank page on which anything can be written and where we all can start anew.   Keeping Christ in our hearts will help to lead us down the right paths. 

 

            As always, please keep the sick and suffering of our parish in your prayers, and please support our troops at home and abroad proudly serving to protect and ensure our American way of life.

Meeting dates

Meetings are held in the rectory meeting room on the first Monday of every month and start at 7:30 p.m.  Next meeting: January 4^th, 2010.

 

 

 

   

This and That

 

                St. John's Assembly (Fourth Degree) is actively seeking members for the "Color Corps". This is the most visible arm of our order; The Corps take part in parish occasions and activities through the County. We were also present during the recent papal visit to NYC. If you're interested, please contact John Sanok or any Assembly officer.
