Grand Knight’s Letter

October 2009

Dear Brothers,

 

            I would like to start this letter by thanking all of the officers and brothers of our council for their support in this, my first experience as your Grand Knight.  Your collective input and generous involvement in all aspects of our mission does not go unnoticed.

 

            I am pleased to report that the Charitable & Benevolent Program has been very successful.  Thanks to all those who have taken time out of their busy schedules to sell raffles at the church and to the public.  There are more raffles available; anyone who wishes to sell more is welcome to them.  All outstanding raffles must be turned in to a council officer by December 1^st.

 

            The annual Christmas party will be held at the Senior Center on Thursday, December 10, 2009 between 6 and 10 pm.  All members and their families are welcome to attend.  Please bring a new unwrapped toy and a dish of your favorite food.

 

            As always, please keep the sick and suffering of our parish in your prayers, and please support our troops at home and abroad proudly serving to protect and ensure our American way of life.

                St. John's Assembly (Fourth Degree) is actively seeking members for the "Color Corps". This is the most visible arm of our order; The Corps take part in parish occasions and activities through the County. We were also present during the recent papal visit to NYC. If you're interested, please contact John Sanok or any Assembly officer.
