The meeting came to order at 7:05pm.  Carole read a traditional advent prayer.  Minutes were read by Carole Grafer; accepted by Kay Coyle; seconded by Barbara Yannaco.

We started with the HPNAP report.  We helped 42 households.  84 adults, 59 children and 8 elderly.
85 baskets were handed out for Thanksgiving.  Carole read a card from Fr. Mike Cedro thanking us for all we do.

Carole read a paragraph about people in need contacting us.  We discussed putting it in our three church bulletins and she discussed the possibility of putting it in other church bulletins as well.  We will start by putting  it in St. Columba’s bulletin.

JoAnn DiSalvo brought up asking supermarkets for donations.   Carole mentioned that we already get bread from Shop Rite.  Dianne volunteered to talk to Hopewell A&P about donations.  Dianne and Ed picked up food donated at LaGrange A&P – collected by girt scouts and brownies.

The second collection at St. Columba - $7,300
We finally received the money from Shop Rite-$232.00 from the Partners in Caring event of June18th.

Thanks went out to Union Vale Middle School:
Cub Scout 127, Brownies, Sons of Italy, Hopewell House, Fishkill Plains,  St. Denis Religious Ed., Freddies Deli.

The November 16 trip to the Regional Food Bank – received 2,795 lbs of food, cost was $1,728.14.

Christmas Baskets are done.
JoAnn DiSalvo – reported on Good Counsel Home – 16 Ladies, 14 children.  Joann is doing gift bags for all of them, because of donations JoAnn received, it only cost us $75.00.  Carole spoke of how we helped them in the past.

Energy Baskets – Carole spoke to Wanda at the Family Partnership- only 100 baskets are made up – worth about $300.  Our clients can apply.  Carole asked if we could make up such baskets. (We will talk about this again in January.) We anticipate people needing oil and other heating bills.  We discussed Central Hudson helping our clients.

Linda Considine handed out cards for each member with a picture of Vincent at table and his charity prayer.

Next meeting will be January 11, 2006.
Meeting adjourned at 7:50pm with a prayer lead by Carole Grafer for all our clients and all those who need us and have not yet reached us.
