If you see your church here and want to join ask the chapter president or your parish priest. If you don't see your church here and want to start a chapter, follow the steps below.

How to Start a Jr. ACRY Chapter from Scratch

1. You must have at least three people to start a chapter (basically the president, secretary, and treasurer). If you do not have three members, you may join the Chapter-at-Large. Chapter-at-Large is made up of people that want to be in the ACRY but don't have enough members to start an official chapter. As a member of Chapter-at-Large you have the same privledges as a member of a chapter. You can run for officer, Miss/Mr. Jr. ACRY, win trophies, etc.

2. Members must be between the ages of 8 and 18. You may remain as a member of the Jr. ACRY until you turn 18 or graduate from high school, which ever comes last.

3. All members must be apart of the American Carpatho-Russian Orthodox Diocese.

4. Contact must be made with the National Jr. ACRY President, Vice-President, or Corresponding Secretary about starting a new chapter. They will then give you the information that you need to start up your chapter. All the information you need however will be sent in the 1st Mailing which will be sent out in September. The 1st Mailing will be sent to your chapter representative if you have a chapter, but if you don't it will be sent to your parish preist, so please contact him if you don't have a chapter and would like to start one.

5. If there has never been a National Jr. ACRY Chapter in your church you must get a charter to become an official chapter. There is a $5 fee for the charter. The charter will officially certify you as a chapter of the National Jr. ACRY.

In Order to Remain as a Chapter in Good Standing You Must:

1. Pay the fee of $5 dues per chapter member. The dues must be postmarked and mailed to the Financial Secretary by December 1st.

2. Abide by the National By-Laws and Constitution

3. Donate a minimum of $75 to the Fund Drive.

If your chapter is not in good standing with the National Jr. ACRY, your chapter will not receive it's full privledges at national events. You will not be able to run for national offices at the Convention, win chapter or individual awards, win trophies at Bowling Tournament, and vote or have a say at meetings in the convention. You may however attend all national events and participate in the bowlig at the Bowling Tournament.
