The National Jr. A.C.R.Y.






The National ACRY Bowling Tournament will be held this Memorial Day Weekend, May 27th through May 30th. It will be hosted at the Holiday Inn Johnstown,PA by Chapter #20 Johnstown. Room rates are $79.00 a night. Room Reservations must be made by Tuesday, April 26,2005 in order to get the reduced rate. Jr. Meal packages are $65.00 for 3 meals. If you are bowling you MUST purchase a full meal package. The 3 events for Jr. members are Mixed Doubles, Doubles, and Singles. You are not required to bowl, but it is encouraged. For other information please see a member of your local Sr. ACRY Chapter, or if you don't have one, see your Jr. ACRY's Correspondance Person. Other information can be found at www.acry.org. A NOTE TO ALL JR. ACRY MEMBERS: If you have any pictures that can be used for the National Jr. ACRY Scrapbook, please send them to Publicity Director Kathleen Fallon. As some of you know, the scrapbook was misplaced and we are trying to make a new one. Along with your picture, write on the back or number the pictures and a sheet of paper, and write about the picture. What's going on and who is in the pictures. The pictures can e from and year of the Jr. ACRY and can be local or national events. We cannot start a new one without your help! Thank you!





Upcoming Deadlines & Important Reminders


*Camp Essay Contest Entries Postmarked To President Rachel Pribish by May 20th

At the National ACRY Convention in 2004, the delegation decided to change the format of the Camp Essay Contest. Instead of having one set topic to abide by, the Essay has been changed to a free write. To enter: Write an essay in 200 words or less. Your essay must pertain to one of the following FOUR topics

Please write your name, address, age, chapter number, and phone number on the BACK of your essay so the Jr. Board doesn't know whose essay they are reading. Creativity and originality are your best chances at winning! The winner will recieve a free week at Camp Nazareth, and will be announced at the Grand Banquet at the Bowling Tournament in Johnstown, PA this Memorial Day Weekend.

*All Proposal Forms Due by: June 1st

Any Proposed changes must be sumbitted in writing and postmarked by this date to President, Rachel Pribish.
