Was touted by many to be the best goalie in Europe last year. A seventh rounder that has flourished in the Swedish elite league, could be very close to being ready for NHL action. He is a good sized goalie who plays the angle well, and has the quickness to make the reflex save. He reads plays well, and reacts quickly. Handles the puck better then most European goalies, and did not seem to be effected by the traffic put in front of him by the North American coaches in the World Junior Championships. He could end up as the Rangers backup to start the year if Mike Richter is not ready.
