
Our 2009 Season Look for us in downtown Salisbury beginning May 2nd. Well be there every week through December Saturday mornings from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Were centrally located At the intersection of Rt. 13 and Market St. on the river Saturdays from 8 Am to 1 PM On Thursdays we will be at Manokin Park in Princess Anne 3PM to 6PM . .................... Our Members are your neighbors. You may even live close to one of our growers if you live in: Salisbury Hebron Mardela Springs Parsonsburg Newark Snow Hill The short trip from farm to market promotes the quality and freshness we promise to deliver Variety We know that when you think of farmers markets you expect to see sweet corn, tomatoes and watermelons. Our Salisbury Market has all these in season and much more. During 2008 our vendors also offered: Nursery plants Lettuce, spinach, salad greens Herbs Cantaloupes & honeydews Summer & winter squash Sweet & Hot Peppers Pumpkins Heirloom vegetables Holiday Garland Cut & edible Flowers Dried flowers & wreaths Apples, peaches & berries Fish, crabs & shrimp Baked goods Several of our farmers are also Certified Organic. Quality Our growers take pride in the quality of the produce and products they bring to the market. Since we sell locally and dont have to be concerned with how well our products will ship, we are free to choose varieties that simply taste great. Freshness Our members are committed to bringing only their finest products to the market. Most of our harvesting for perishable items takes place on Friday afternoon or even early Saturday morning as the sun comes up. That means that your produce will be hours not days old when you take it home.And we accept both WIC and Senior Nutrition coupons.
