I had a 1971 Sedan DeVille when I was a senior in high school...What a fabulous car that was...The 472 was very strong and reliable...Mom and Dad had a '72 Coupe at the same time...The '71 pictured below belongs to a fellow Cadillac enthusiast in the Netherlands...What a beautiful car...

Here is another example of the splendid beauty of a 71 Sedan DeVille, this one happens to have belonged to the late Elvis Presley...What a magnificant car

Here is a very nice 71 Coupe

This 72 is identical to the 72 Coupe that Mom and Dad had brown on brown with brown leather...

Here is another 1972 this time a white on white Sedan...

1973 Coupe DeVille

1973 Sedan DeVille

1973 Eldorado Convertible

This is the 1974 model Cadillac, the last of the 472 cubic inch engines...and the end of round headlamps...I think the change to rectangular headlamps was a good one...

Here's another '74...This one is a nice example of a Cadillac Calais which is the entry level model
In 1975 Cadillac went to a 500 cubic inch engine in all their cars...here's a nice example of a 1975 Sedan DeVille

Here's a 1975 Limo with pretty decent looking chrome spoked wheels...This one has blue velour interior and is for sale at Fritz's Auto Repair here in Great Falls...I'm not sure how much Fritz wants for it? I've often thought it would be neat to own a limo, but I suppose the novelty would wear off after the first several times I would encounter difficulty parking...

1977 was the first year of the 425 cu in engine...The engine and the body style are another one of my all time favorites...

This is a photo of a 1977 Coupe I bought in 1986, I drove this car everywhere and never even considered a break-down...I purchased the car for $700 with the door skins flapping in the breeze and quite a bit of rust. After driving the car for a couple of months and taking care of the mechanical neccessities, I decided to have it painted. The paint job cost another $700 and it made all the difference in the world. The car had white leather interior and an electric moon roof. Sorry for the poor photo quality...I ended up trading this car for a Dodge pick-up in 1988, I realised later that this would be one of the biggest mistakes of my life...

Here's a 1977 Coupe DeVille in white on blue...a bit different from the norm in '77 most buyers opted for dark tops on light cars...

This black on black '77 is a real beauty

This is one of my former cars, it's a 1978 Coupe DeVille. It was a very good car. I bought the car for $600 and within one week the transmisson let go. For another $600, I had the tranny rebuilt and she was as good as new...I drove the car for about two years and then decided I needed something a bit newer. I sold the car for $1,000, to a young guy who was getting out of the Air Force and moving back to Massachucetts back in 1997.

This is the very good looking 1979 Coupe DeVille in blue on blue...

Here is a 79 Sedan DeVille in beautiful condition

The unmistakeable good looks of a 1980 Coupe DeVille... I almost bought one of these in 1988, it was a diesel and it was in mint condition...
