The Colorado Rockies and Seattle Mariners came to terms on 3B Jeff Cirillo. Yankees signed free agent Jason Giambi to a seven year deal. Carl Everett will be playing with the Rangers next year. Dustin Hermanson signed with the Red Sox. Jon Vander Wal was traded to the Yankees. Izzy lands in St. Louie. +Baseball's offseason has been somewhat busy. Both the Mets and Yankees making deals to improve or replace players that have been lost due to uncontrolable reasons. The Yankees have gone out and purchased free agent Jason Giambi for the next seven years. The Mets have traded for All-Star 2B Roberto Alomar.With names like that making headlines, what has happened to the other guys that are suppose to be the hot commodity? Nothing! Barry Bonds is still out there on the market along with Mosies Alou, Bret Boone, Juan Gonzalez, Tino Martinez, David Wells, Chan Ho Park and Johnny Damon. The funnier thing is, offers haven't really come out of their 2001 organization. Bonds has been offered a contract, but one has to believe he is holding out ofr a better deal.
