I think that Antigone should not have killed herself because justice may have came upon to her and others. In other words. killing herself is something that Creon wnated to occur because he just may hve wanted to put fear in her heart. Creons way of ruling was all in the wrong way of living life and then having the whole town to follow him. I think that Antigone would have been living proof if she was to live onto the next year of age without being scared strait. Creon would have probably enjoyed seeing her killing herslef but would have regreted it later on. Antigone was vey stubborn in the first place, which is why she went along and killed herself making things so hard on herself and others woh she left behind that loved her dearly. Antigone was the main character in the book basically because she was living proof of Oedipus. They were both stubborn, wanted everything their way, and enjoyed being a leader whom gotten their point across to everybody. The main differnce between the two was that Oedipus was never able to reach his goal in the way he felt that was needed to be done, Antigone was able to get her point across absically because she felt that her brother deserved a proper burial and that is exactly what he gotten, because Antigone was able to do so even though she wasn't suppose to. Maybe things would have been much easier if Antigone just played her role and play the side line instead of being heard all the time, in which is what her dear beloved sister Ismene thought of all along. Ismene was the one whom felt that if she gotten her point across she would be killed by Creon. Ismene was right after all basically because Antigone was trying to bring her along and down with the whole concept of doing what she wanted. Ismene felt that she played her role because later on when it gotten out that Antigone wanted to give her brother a proper burial she would be killed by Creon for just thinking about it and letting it get back to him.
