Research on Meat Testing

A small number of US meat processing plants were trying to give a problem to the governments good food safety program that has succeeded in reducing salmonella poisoning. However the USDA are not closing a meat plant which flunks government salmonella test. “Salmonella is a food borne bacteria that can cause diarrhea in healthy adults and much more severe illnesses in young children cancer patients the elderly and others with weak immune systems.”
Because of the bacteria  found in food the meat testing has to go on to prevent people from getting sick as the eat. These are some of the things that they are aloud to do to the meat or the permitted process follow system of safety checks throughout processing, meet standards for salmonella contamination, test for generic E. coli bacteria, and identify and control sanitation risks.
These inspections started taking place years ago when families of children died after eating undercooked hamburgers that had E. coli bacteria. Since these test started parents of other children should not have to worry about giving there children a hamburger. The new inspections are a more modernized way of doing things.
Salmonella poison is the trickiest one because it can only be seen with a microscope. Inspectors also have to look, touch and smell the meat . “ The USDA will push meat packing plants to institute new safeguard at all stages of  production including requirements that slaughterhouses run scientific tests for E. coli and salmonella and that all meat facilities improve sanitation procedures.”
The new things that they are aloud to do to the meat are very important and effective although it is not guaranteed that nothing will ever be wrong with the meat. Unfortunately something new can come along and be a big problem. The things that they are aloud to do should solve the problems for now.
