The Portland Winterhawks have captured the 1st ever GDHA Stanley Cup Crown. Sparky's team beat Hobo's Esponite 4 games to 1 to bring joy to the streets of Edmonton.

Teemu Selanne added more hardware to his collection by earning the Playoff MVP, with 30 post season points.
