Misty's World

This year I am in seventh grade. Which means this year I turn thirteen. I've always wanted to be thirteen, it means I'm a teenager. I am homeschooled, and it is great. If you want to jump ahead a year or two you can, as long as you know all the work. It's sometimes not so good to be homeschooled because you can get grounded easier for bad grades before your parents even look at your report card. I get good grades anyway so I don't have to be grounded too often. In our classroom we have two students, my sister and I. Both excellent students with an excellent teacher. Our principal is our great Dad. He's also our woodshop teacher. We do math, English, spelling, writing, and geography; which are all horrible. Music, Spanish, art, history, and science are other subjects we do. We also have to do health, library, gym, and typing. I don't like to sit down and think really hard to find out an answer. I love basketball. I hope I can become a professional someday. Jumping, shooting, dribbling, and guarding the net; I love it all. My dad taught me how to play. He is cool. Last year I was on a team at the YMCA. It was fun. I hope to be on the team this year too. Another thing I like is the computer. I love getting on the computer and playing games like pacman, snakes, Dr. Brain, and more. I like to surf the net also. I purposely look for games to play on the net. You can play some too.
