12.14.00-it's official...there is no more dwk...after 2 and a half years we have decided to move on to other things...there is a new band which is pretty much dwk...but playing a different style of music...that site can be found here. in the meantime you can check out the other bands associated with dwk...kelley, matty, and tyler are all currently rocking with the exam...which is a jazzy screamo band. matty and tyler are both rocking with building on fire...if you haven't heard them, you're a sucka. it's kinda metal'ish hardcore....fucking amazing. tyler and matt are also involved with the chuds...who are finally getting back together and starting to play out again....hooray. i hear the new songs sound kind of like palatka...sweet. i'm pretty sure (positive)there's other bands that dwk members are involved in...but i don't know the names of these bands or their webpage (if they have one). i think ben is drumming for a posi-core band now...ty and matt are in a band with ex-members of fall to pieces...kelley is possibly joining a wuss rock band with brian from standfast and vinny from the exam and the tom fools. it's possible that there are others...we're busy guys. pictures from the last show can be found here. anyways...thank you very, very, very much to everyone who has supported us or helped us or has even been nice in general to us. extra super special thanks to sean bailey for everything. there are still copies of the 3 song cd ep. it's only 1 dollar in person or 2 dollars by mail. again....thank you.
8.14.00-tonight ben and i worked on, and for the most part completed, the 3 song e.p. the first run is 50 copies with 40 regular covers and 10 "special" covers. they'll probably be 2 dollars at a show, or 3 by mail. we just figured it would be nice to have something to distribute at shows while we wait for the 7 inch stuff to come together. for this release we used the name "dwk" because we haven't come up with anything much better yet.
8.something.00-welp, i'm not really sure of the date...oh well. anyway...we still don't have an official name, but a few have been thrown around and eventually shot down. we wrote some new stuff, i'm very happy with it. once the vocals are set, it should be some of our best material. that's anout it for me. i got my ticket to see weezer september 1st. nah nah.
6.20.00-the seven inch is coming along. despite the fact that only two of us have considered it, we might change our name. there's a show coming up july 6th in canandaguia with shoepillow. thanks.
5.26.00-working on stuff...
5.8.00-the watchmen stuff came out really good! not only that, but evergreen records is going to put it out for us on 7". we recorded 9 songs, but we'll probably only put 8 on the record. we'll probably do hand made covers and we're hoping for colored vinyl. yup.
