LAKE ONTARIO SALMON

chinook(king)salmon are the backbone of the lake ontario fishery because of there size and there long and powerful battles.they average 20 pounds in the spring and 35 to 40 in the fall.

coho(silver)salmon are not as big as the chinook salmon but they are noted for there twisting and jumping battles.they average about 10 pounds

alantic salmon are a prize in lake ontario.they haven't establish there selfs fully in lake ontario although they are caught alot.they average 15 pounds.
