My attempt at a DIY stand.
Although it's big enough to fit a 55G (49x15), it just has the
38G on it for now. I also needed another bookshelf, and thought
I'd kill two birds with one stone. The whole schmeer cost me less
than $100. It was all cut by hand, but thank God for a drill with
a screwdriver attachment!

It has a hinge so half of it can open to allow access
to the tank below. I
went a little crazy and made it out of Aspen.
