when i'm snuggled in
under my bed covers
with the blankets pulled tight
i feel safe, secure
everything is right with the world
no hunger, no famine
no dirty laundry to clean
the world is mine for the taking
i snuggle with a kitty or two
read a good book
bask in the gloriousness
of having nothing to do
my daydreams wander
to visions of queens, ponies and lollipops
i'm just about to marry prince charming
and the phone rings
i'm snapped back to reality
prince charming will have to wait
until i'm off the phone
and i snuggle back under my covers
