This is where I say a little somethin' somethin' about the band I'm in--Poor Brother Tom. Foremost, it kicks major patootie. We are (mostly) acoustic and have had several gigs at major venues such as Starbucks and Roberts Wesleyan College. Oh, and before I get into my personal involvement with the band--you know, instruments, responsibilities, etc.--I'd like to give anyone who desires the opportunity to visit visit the band's page.
Okay, that's done. Now, what do I do. I am:
- Rhythm guitarist (I do a little bit of contrived lead at times as well)
- Backup/Co-singer
- Songwriter
- All around band-enthusiast
- The farthest away from the others
We are going into the studio (okay, Dave's basement) to record some stuff over the weekend of May 14th, 2000, so hopefully some sort of production will arise out of that and maybe even sample CDs! Whoa!
Anyway, that's that part of me. I considered putting up lyrics to songs I've written that the band plays, but as we do not yet have a satisfactory copyright on any of our stuff, I think it premature and perhaps a little stupid to do that. Sorry, for those of you who want to know. You can, if you wish, read the setlists from our gigs.
