E-Book Archive

Okay, one thing that ticks me off is not being able to find electronic versions of a book I want to read, especially in the proper format for reading on my Handspring Visor. So, here I have created a "linkbase" (or database of links) for downloading e-books from various places.

Please note that this is a supplement to my Books I've Read page. These are books that I've read, want to read, may at some point read, or don't really care about reading but has some sort of historical or literary value and I feel should be made available for whatever purpose.

As a matter of space constraints and all that, I only have books that I cannot find in other places actually on this website (courtesy of Angelfire and Lycos). All others are links. In addition, there are links below to some really good places to go if you're looking for FREE electronic books.

And finally, many of the Palm DOC formatted e-books here I have converted myself using a free conversion utiltity called MakeDocW. If there is not a book here that you want and you know is available somewhere in text format, I suggest you download the MakeDocW utility and convert it. If for some reason you would like me to put up a link or even put the converted file on my page, e-mail me and we'll talk about how to do that.
