it is very easy for your opponent to drive her back or even trap and capture her.

As the most powerful piece on the board,

your queen is forced to succumb to lesser pieces when it comes to exchanges.

Hold back, then, on developing your queen,

because it's not until after the minor pieces have done battle

and the kings have castled that you will know where her powers are needed most.
