The NES was released in 1985, packaged with it was SuperMario Bros. (and sometimes DuckHunt too.) SMB is still fun and challenging to play even now, that says a lot. Nintendo dominated the market like no other system had or has done to this date. Nobody had any other system you had nintendo and thats it. My mom still tells my little brother now, "stop playing nintendo" even though he's playing Xbox. Its like nintendo took the place of the word videogame. Just like people say pass me a kleenex instead of a tissue,same goes for nintendo. Thats all that needs to be said. However since i love this system so much, I'll say more.... Nintendo had multiple cartoons,cereals,toys,magazines,EVERYTHING! The nintendo entertainment system's run lasted from 1985-1992. SEGA then released Genesis in 1991 and Nintendo released SUPER Nintendo in 1992 which officially ended the NES era. There were more than 600games released for the NES.

Favorite NES moment: after hours of blowing in the cartridge and using every stupid superstitious ritual I finally get ________ to work.
worst NES moment: Turning on ZeldaII and finding that my game is erased AGAIN! and of course i was right near the end.
