Favorite baseball player when he was a kid: "Dave Winfield, he was the best all-around athlete in sports. He was drafted in baseball, basketball and football."

Favorite subject in school: Math
When he started playing baseball: "I was six years old when I started playing tee ball."
His advice for kids who hope to be in the Majors someday: "Make sure you do good in school because you never know what could happen. It's very difficult (to make the Majors), and you could get injured. Education is something you need regardless of whether or not you're a professional athlete."
All-time favorite movie: "Seven. I like movies that make you think."
Favorite type of music: "I like hip-hop and R&B."
Favorite breakfast cereal: Frosted Flakes
Favorite TV show: "Now it's just SportsCenter, but growing up it was The Cosby Show."
If he could meet any current or former Major Leaguer, it would be: "Jackie Robinson. To understand the struggles that he went through. I mean you can read about it and you can hear about it, but to actually be there and see what he had to go through, being the first Aftrican-American player. I would love to have had the opportunity to talk with him."
If he could have witnessed any historical baseball event in person, it would be: "Jackie Robinson's first game."
If he wasn't a baseball player, another career that would interest him: "Maybe something with business, or business-related."
The stadium he most enjoys playing in: Yankee Stadium
Best part about playing pro baseball: "I love competition and I love playing this game. Every day it's a whole new game."
