digital art network:

This is a very new addition to the site, although I think that it is necessary to add since I love digital artwork, and would like to share it with people, also let me know if there is anything you would like to add, or any link you think I should put up.

[Click here] to see the main directory where all of my digital art work will be stored, all of the really new stuf will be there until I can upload it to this site. The most recent stuff is listed below, but also I have listed a description of the programs that I use or would like to use, and where to go to buy them.
[Click here] to see a detailed description of the programs that I like to use, plus their respective owners websites and their current retail price.

Adobe Photoshop 6.0

www.adobe.com
price: US$609.00
I have been using Adobe products for about 5 years since probably Photoshop 2.5, and even then they were top of the line. Photoshop is one of the programs where it helps to read about certain techniques and effects, and how the program works, but I think the real fun comes with experimentation. I learn something new every time I use it. I am working on Photoshop 5.5 right now, although 6.0 is out, I have found that it is a little more difficult to control. Now don't get me wrong, every new version is extremely better, and Adobe has a reputation of making the process of creation easier on graphic artists, so I am assumming that this program will become fairly easy to use with experience.

Bryce 4.0

www.corel.com
price: US$199.00
I haven't ever used bryce before about 4 months ago, and I never thought that making a 3d world could be so easy. The power of Bryce 3d (the program that I use) is incredible, and I don't even have the latest version. This program is definately worth checking out, if you are into making some serious 3d renders, wallpapers, 3d models, animations, or flash animations. Really another one of those programs where you learn by experimenting, ad believe me you will learn alot.

Poser 4.0

www.curiouslabs.com
price: US$149.00
Poser offers a very unique and extremely customizeable interface. If your attention is to detail and perfection, but you don't want to have to try extremely hard, this program is perfect. You may have been wondering whay exactly this prog. does. Well just about anything relative to "posing" figures, whether it be humand, robots, animals, fish, etc. and there's alot more figures available for download. Another plus is that all the figures are able to be exported into bryce for more detailed texturing effects, and combining them with your own 3d created worlds. The program was also just purchased from [metacreations] and is selling at a very new low price so check them out.

Corel Draw Suite 10

www.corel.com
price: US$549.99
I have used Corel applications for a small portion of time, although with the release of this new program, I would like to explore what they have to offer. It is definately my next investment, and will hopefully be able to fulfill my expectations.
