WELCOME TO OUR DONATION NEWS & PICTURES

Before we get started here is the pictures
I promised you of Our 2 little helpers that
tried to help put the beanies in the nice
little baggies plus all the other nice little
things they did.
This is Bear by wrinkles

This of course is Blue with his Mr Innocent
I didnt do it.
Look do you se any beanies?
I was sitting in the chair all the time.

Now we can begin Our Journey
as You can see from the picture
Bear went along with Blondetaz,Kimmy,Pickle
and Theresa.
I think he had the best view
and seat in the house.

After almost 2 hours of driving
and Bear continuosly asking are we there yet
we arrived at Luckys House to pick her up how do you
southern members like the snow.

With Lucky loaded in the car
off we went to Ronald Mcdonalds
we were all anxious,
We weren't exactly sure what street
It was on We knew the general area
but still wasn't sure
Well Lucky told Blondetaz just for the heck
of it Turn on this street.
Lo and behold there Was the
Ronald Mcdonald House.

As You walk up the ramp
You see this great painting done on the side
of the building.

As we got up to the top we found
Ronald Mcdonald Of course
Lucky and Pickle and all the Beanies
Had to stop and Have there Picture
taken With Ronald Mcdonald.

When we got inside we were greeted by
Pat & Dave Anderson
We explained to them who we were
and what we were doing.
We can honestley say they are Angels themselves
We were made to feel so welcome
They are the kind of people that
make you feel as though you have already
known them all your life.

Lucky gave them the card signed from us ALL
and all the beanies
Here is Lucky,Presenting the beanies
to Pat.

All together we donated 100 beanies
We put 60 of them in Bags and wrapped them up

Pat was so nice she took us on a tour and
explained things to us.
I'll try and explain things as we go along to
go with the pictures.
First we have the kitchen.
This was beautiful I missed the picture.
But anyone wishing to do so can visit there
website and see the kitchen,
as you leave the kitchen you come to a laundry
area that has 3 washers and 3 dryers and a
full pantry full of nothing but goodies that
are donated to them.
each family get there own bins
as some are on special diets.
This next picture is why I missed the Kitchen picture.
You are looking right threw there fish tank
Hey I got some of the Kitchen.

Pat explained to us That the house accommodates
up to twenty families who have traveled to the
Rochester area for medical care at any medical
facility at a rate of $10 a night per family
up to 6 family members. If they can't pay the
$10 they can still stay.
There Mission statement is
Ronald Mcdonald House Charities Of Rochester
provide Lodging,emotional support and comfort
to families and children receiving medical
treatment and reaches out to families in the
community with support to other charities,
Here is a couple pictures of the bedrooms
these do them no justice they were beautiful.
Heres Pickle admiring the bunk beds

here's Lucky,Pickle,Kimmy and Blondetaz listening to
Pat explain about the bedrooms and the phones that
they provide for free.

Also I have heard Ronald Mcdonald houses
reffered to as the house that love built
I can see why now.
Outside each room is a plaque with who donated
the money for the room.Inside is a plaque with the
name of the person or group that donated all the
furnishings.
The Next pictures were Pickles favorites
Blondetaz and myself spent 15 minutes trying
to get him to understand this.
These pictures are of what is called Elevator
Artwork done by Carol Culhane

Pickle Couldn't Understand how we could take the
elevator and come out with a different scene on the
door.

The white you are seeing is just the
glare of the light off the camera

We were unable to get pictures of the
Family's as they were at the hospital with the
children. However we did get some neat pictures
of some of the things.
This next picture is of a painting on the wall
You had to find Waldo and other things in it
Can you find Waldo.

This picture is of a christmas decoration they
had in one of the family rooms.

This painting was found inside the childrens
playroom

We found this picture of the Trolley we
thought we would share with yous.

All throughout we seen nice quilts like the one below

We got to see many of our favorite freinds
heres Winnie The Pooh

Blondetaz meets Mickey Mouse

This little cutey was found downstairs just as you go
by the office

Of course this fellow went perfect with pickle

Upstairs we found the PC Room where all the familys can use the PC,and just relax.

There was just so many things to see
We could see where each family would
Feel a sense of HOME as they were
going threw there tough times.
Before we left we got to meet Julie
who is the public relations Specialist.
I will be emailing her as soon as I finish so
they all can enjoy our pictures too.
Below is the final picture of Pat,Dave and
Julie

As we were doing all our tour I asked Pat
About the beanies and how that woud work. She told me.
"The family would pick out the beanies for there
family and make sure the children in the hospital
all received one".But it would be up to them if they
wanted to give them to them now or wait for
christmas.
Special Thanks To
Dave for the batteries for the digital
Zangeldove for letting me borrow her digital
and helping to get these pictures to me.
