Lover's True
As they lay
thier eyes touch.
As they lay
thier arms clutch.
They are meant to be
As grass is to green.
This man and woman
where as king to a queen.
As they fell into passion
her soul was released.
but, below his skin
is soul remained underneath.
her feeling of rejection
became quite evident.
The queen ran behind her bed
and uncotrollably wept.
Her knight rose
and stood in front of his love.
He closed his eyes
and his spirit flew above.
It was so bright
and over her stood towering.
She saw Love's true form
and it was awe inspiring.
As his countenance shrunk
to a less intimidating visage.
his lover now understood
with the truth, she was barraged.
She saw his face
and it held so many scars and tears stains.
She recoiled from his touch
because now she felt his pain.
He lowered his head in shame.
Feeling her inevitable departure.
They all leave him
they carve his presence, but never his character.
"Always desired, but never loved"
I believe the was the verse.
truly a crafty and eveil spirit
created this curse.
As the sun shone through
she looked at him with an unwavering stare.
She opened her mouth and said
"What, am I no longer to care".
She took his hand and placed on a ring.
" I will always love you
until the end of all things".
In that moment
all of his pain was gone .
The cuts from fear, betrayal and anger's sword
healed in front of love's forgiving bond.
As their spirits merged
they flew away like birds
Thus ends this poem
for their love can no longer be described with words.
