Welcome to the website for the St. Andrews Chapter of DeMolay International. This group of exceptional young men can be found in all 50 states of our nation, and in many other nations around the world. Since it's founding, DeMolay has become the WORLD'S LARGEST male youth organization, and it's not difficult to see why. DeMolay helps shape the future leaders of our country through 7 cardinal beliefs.
St. Andrews Chapter can be found in Amsterdam, NY, about an hour west of Albany. Meetings are held on Thursdays, and while this group does have regularly scheduled meetings, there is also a lot of "out of office" activities; as a member of Demolay, in one year, you would probably go skiing/tubing/snowboarding a few times, go to sports weekend, go to an annual convention, and go to multiple dances ("balls"). It's a very active organization, and something goes on every week, it never gets boring. DeMolay is run by the members (Members of DeMolay are between the ages of 13 and 21), and for the majority of the time, the advisors will allow the members to plan anything, as long as the money can be raised; Very rarely will the advisors say no, which gives the members a feeling of importance and leadership that they will need later in their lives.
