The Ladies Auxiliary is associated with the Knights of Columbus in support of our church and we assist them in thier good works. Our members are the wives,sisters,and/or daughters of a Knight. The ladies must have a male relative in the Knights but do NOT have to be catholic. We support the Knights but...our efforts go far beyond this.
Our Ladies Auxiliary,after working many years with and for our Knights,now also have our own charities.Each year we strive to make substantial contributions toward the efforts of LIFE CENTER (Mother & Unborn Baby Care) and the GOOD SAMARITAN HOSPITAL/MEDICAL CENTER'S BREAST CANCER UNIT. The Life Center offers emotional,financial,and physical assistance to pregnat women who wish NOT to kill thier child but are facing difficult times financially and/or emotionally.The Breast Cancer Unit works not only with women suffering the effects of cancer but educates women on early detection.
Our Ladies have run wonderfully successfull Chinese Auctions,Flower Bulb Sales,etc.
On the social side ,we have outtings to dinner/theaters etc.
The camaraderire and good works make up the Ladies Auxiliary a wonderful group with which to belong.
