On Monday, April 30th, the San Francisco City Council approved the expansion of the health care benefits city workers get to include a gender altering surgery, or sex change operation if you prefer. In a 9-2 vote the council has made the city the only government body which will allow those who desire to change their gender to use public monies.
Upon hearing this, a group known as The Keepers of Odd Knowledge has made a suggestion as to what can be done with the left over testicles. The group suggested that they be transplanted into the Republican Senators in Washington since most seem to lack this particular body part. ====================================================I saw 2 articles at Wired news that I thought you might find interesting.
Does the restrictive cost make internet privacy, as proposed by congress, an unwise decision?

The techies are trying to find a way to end the total net gridlock predicted within 5 years. Can they do it?
Infostructure
Recently the administration has had the Vice-President out on the stump pushing the administrations energy proposals. These include looking for oil sources within our own country and considering adding more nuclear power plants as a source of power. It is my opinion that, if we wish to continue to have our current lifestyle, we will need to consider all options. Nothing should be ruled out just because it is politically incorrect.
